About Food Quality & Chemistry of Natural Products

Maintaining an enormous variety of safe, high quality and affordable food, poses a continuous challenge in the food industry. In the present times competition in the food market is fierce and the changes are rapid. An increasing consumer awareness and demand for safer and better products exists, food quality, therefore, is essential prerequisite for success in food business. In order to respond to the above situation Food Quality Management postgraduate course focuses on food quality, and the ways that it is perceived, satisfied and managed across the Mediterranean and International food sector.

More specifically, the purpose of the Food Quality Management (2012-2013) course is to provide University graduates from related disciplines with high level applied knowledge in the field of Food Science and Technology. Particular emphasis is being given on the quality Management at Industrial level, taking into account the requirements of the modern food industry.

The graduates of the course will be provided with the necessary skills and specialized knowledge, in order to meet the particular demands of the modern Mediterranean Food Sector.
